Yes, that’s right cookie dough made for EATING not baking! I’ve tried my fair share of these safe-to-eat-raw cookie doughs and THIS.IS.IT. The best. It takes less than 5 minutes to throw together and BAM you’ve got yourself some cookie dough to shovel into your lazy bod while binging on the ‘Flix. No? Just me? Fess up peeps. I know I’m not alone!
It is a little better after chilling in the fridge but, sometimes, ain’t nobody got time for that. There are certain days when you’re just in need of cookie dough STAT. Am I right or am I right? For the other days, when you can wait – scoop these suckers into cute little balls and freeze ’em. Add them to your homemade ice cream, milkshakes, whatever you can think of – add them. Cookie dough only makes things better.
Or just keep a bag of these beauties in the freezer at all times. That’s the smart thing to do. That way, when the urge hits (which it undoubtedly will), you’re ready *insert fist emoji here*.
I’ve had more I-need-to-shovel-cookie-dough-into-my-face days lately than usual. Ever feel down in the dumps but you’re not exactly sure why? Cookie dough to the rescue! Seriously, I’m fine. I just feel like I need a shot of sunshine, beach, pool, or somethin’ to get me going again. In the meantime, Monica and Chandler will be keeping me company as I enjoy this delicious treat. Please tell me I’m not the only one whose plowed through all 10 seasons of Friends almost twice?! And I don’t want to admit how many bowls of this cookie dough!
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ cup milk (I used 2%)
- 1 cup flour
- Pinch kosher salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips (I love semi-sweet)
- In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar and butter until smooth. Stir in vanilla and milk. Mix in the flour, salt, and chocolate chips until well blended. Chill in the refrigerator.
